Tasha was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with! Even though it was a holiday and she should have been off relaxing, she always got back to us whenever we had questions. She was able to secure us sun umbrellas which was fabulous because they were difficult to find and it really helped with the kids. This is our family's third visit to Roatan and third time using Island House Vacation Rentals. There is honestly no reason to use anyone else. The properties are well maintained and responsiveness to questions, concerns, maintenance and help in getting local activies and/or rides set up is top notch. Our family has rented 5 different properties in West Bay Village over three different visits (we bring a big crew!). Close friends have rented 5 others. The properties are always well kept and exactly what we expected. The location is unbeatable. This is a vacation like no other. Everyone was very pleasant and accomadating.

We stayed upstairs in Tortuga last summer and just made our reservations to stay downstairs in Santori next summer. We love the feel of the group of homes and the greenary surrounding it. The exteriors felt very historical while the interiors were very modern with every convenience. The power did go out pretty often in the mornings but it usually comes back on in a hour or so. Tasha did an excellent job communicating with us and helping us line up transportation and the boat trip.

Overall excellent trip and will be back to the island next year. Only negative was lack of towel service as the beach towels were wet each day and did not dry out very well overnight. the workers were all awesome, so friendly and helpful all of them. We felt very welcome, the security was especially nice and were extremely attentive!

Only issue that was a bummer was the dishwasher doesn't work very well. The dishes were unclean when we arrived and we ended up having to clean all of the ones we used prior to using them. We still give the rental very good marks because of the awesome location and the friendliness of the staff. REPLY: Thank you for your honest review, we are happy you enjoyed the location and service. The team were great especially Shanna and Tasha, Rene was always helpful and we were really pleased with the security personnel especially Orly who became a good friend and was always very helpful.

Security Guards were excellent! Drivers from airport were exceptional!! trip to grocery was a great plus!!

The property beautiful, beyond the expectations of the photos. It was spacious enough that the 5 adults never felt like we were in each others way. We loved the inclosed sun porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. Cant wait to come back and stay at this amazing house again! The team was excellent, any questions I had in regards to cleaning, laundry or transportation were always answered quickly and with desired results.

The Boathouse Owners Suite is an absolutely beautiful home. My only suggestion would be more comfortable seating on the deck, more of a conversation setting rather than the hammocks.I also just want to mention that I feel that paper products should be supplied when renting a home with the price we pay per night.
